Rider: Ryan Gale
A Utah
native, Ryan Gale has recently been
bitten hard by the cycling bug! Being
a natural athlete, Ryan has competed
in running and skiing events all his
life, with exceptional results. In August
of this year, he also completed the
Hood to Coast Relay in Oregon. One of
the most difficult and longest stretches
of the 36 leg course was assigned to
Ryan, who in the fog and rain, averaged
6 minute miles. Ryan has started riding
both on the road and in the dirt with
Jason Vorell all over Southern California.
Each time, showing his natural ability
and talent for sailing up climbs and
hammering out the flats. He was convinced
that he needed to try out the cyclocross
scene, got a bike together, and is currently
in 1st place in the Mens Category 4
Urban Cyclocross Series! Always exciting
to watch, his running background has
allowed him to demolish the competition
on the run ups and dismounts. Don't
miss Ryan defending his 1st place standing
at the December 16th race at Hidden
Valley in Irvine! |
